Dubai-based 7 Production will open its first office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia just after Ramadan as part of its efforts to better service clients in the Kingdom, BroadcastPro ME can reveal.
A 12-camera OB van with two wireless camera systems will leave from Dubai mid-May and be stationed at 7 Productions premises in Riyadh. 7 Production is presently hiring operational staff to be based at its Riyadh office.
We have a lot of productions happening all the time between Jeddah and Riyadh, and it was becoming expensive for our customers to pay for an OB van to travel from Dubai to KSA each time. The availability of a 12-camera OB van will provide a more convenient and cost-effective solution to our customers although crew will be provided based on the requirements of the project, Nabil Abou Samra, Director of Commercial Production, 7 Production told BroadcastPro ME.
Saudi Arabia seems keen to bring more events to the Kingdom to ramp up tourism. This will create even more opportunities for us to cover live events. We recently covered the F15 aircraft launch and filmed the army graduation in KSA. This is a good and new market that is growing rapidly. We see a great opportunity within the Kingdom to open up new business opportunities, commented Abou Samra.
7 Production presently owns seven OB vans in the UAE and has one stationed in Lebanon.
